S M Reed & Co was founded by Stephen Reed in 1977. We are based in Hove in East Sussex and act for clients throughout the UK.

All commercial transactions are dealt with by the Partners themselves, with full back-up and assistance from experienced staff.

Stephen Reed trained with a top City Firm and qualified as a Solicitor in 1971. As an active working partner in the business his philosophy has always been to be highly approachable to clients and to ensure that their requirements are fully met.

Ralph Crane qualified as a Solicitor in 1978. Whilst dealing with all aspects of business transactions and lending, he has also specialised in the Residential Care market. He is an active speaker to audiences on the legal aspects of purchasing a Residential Care Home and to lenders on security requirements.
